I am Emma’s Mum! Having had a career in teaching for 33 years, of which the last 15 were as a Headteacher and School Improvement Partner, I retired at the end of 2012. However, never one to stand still for long, I soon realised that I needed a new challenge. In 2013 I opened my own successful educational consultancy business.

When Emma dropped the bombshell that she wanted to open her own practice, after first picking myself up off the floor, I worked closely with her to found and develop the STAR Vet Clinic, a truly family run business.

When I’m not busy with the financial management of the practice, I enjoy drinking hot chocolate after long walks with JJ, our beautiful black lab, as well as pottering around in the garden and reading.
